Lamp Work & Silver Bracelet by Ed Wray

This tutorial will show you how this bracelet was made in a detailed step by step guide. In addition, it will demonstrate a number of basic beaded jewelry techniques using several different tools.
	Basic Design Concept Because this bracelet was made using one of a kind lamp work beads, you will not be able to exactly replicate the piece. However, you should be able to copy the basic design using your own beads. The most important variable to consider is the overall length of the bracelet. See our bracelet guide for further information on determining the correct length for your piece. Once you have determined the correct length you can work out how many components you will need, starting with the lamp work beads. In this piece a single large focal bead was used in the middle with 5 pairs of smaller beads offsetting the focal bead.
You will also need a pair of silver bead caps for each bead in the bracelet. In this case 22 bead caps were used.
	You need two small Bali silver daisy bead spacers.
14 4mm fire polished crystal beads in a complimentary color to your lamp work beads. Here amber beads were used.
	A nice silver toggle clasp.
2 silver crimp beads.
	Beading wire - this should be about twice as long as the desired bracelet length. While this may seem overly generous, it is important to have enough length to comfortably work with the bracelet. There is nothing more frustrating than finishing a piece only to discover that you don't have enough wire left to properly complete the job.

	And a good set of side cutters.
